Benefits Planning Projects
SSA is in the process of funding a national network for Benefits Planning Assistance and Outreach (BPA & O). As of January, 2001, sixteen states have received awards, and SSA is in the process of funding BPA & O Projects in additional states. The Employment Support Institute has developed WorkWORLD, software to assist individuals with disabilities in calculating the impact of employment on Social Security and other benefits. One-Stops may wish to obtain a copy of this software to assist individuals in managing their benefits.
